Irenew Sourcebook

Welcome to the online version of the Iowa Renewable Energy Association‘s Renewable Energy Sourcebook! We have finally joined the masses and transformed our biennial print version of the Iowa Renewable Energy Sourcebook into an online database searchable by anyone with Internet access. Special thanks goes to the Iowa Energy Center for making this possible.

Many new company listings have been added since the 2007 print edition, and we are continually adding more. These additions indicate that more Iowans than ever are looking for renewable energy options and that those options are expanding in Iowa. The information contained in this database includes resources available to help Iowans transform our current energy economy, heavily dependent on fossil fuels, into a new energy economy that frees us from that dependence.
If you do not find a local resource for renewable energy installation, consulting and services, please let us know so that we can be sure to add them to the database. The online Iowa Renewable Energy Sourcebook is a resource meant to be tapped into and explored. If you have any suggestions that would make it a more effective resource for you and others, please let us know at irenew@irenew.org.
